This is the 1.0 release of the ODE integrators within the ODE solver. This is a major milestone in the release of the ODE solver, and thus many features have been added. In particular it is the first real time solver, robust general purpose solver capable of differential equations with almost any type of input and output from a serial port to spiking neural networks or continuous physical measuring systems. The release includes a set of new classes for input/output to ODE solvers, which can be found here . The new functionality has been improved and extended based on user feedback during the development process. New functionality in versions also includes parallel updates of the ODE solver, no longer using the serial port to send input and output information. The Parallel ODE solvers are thus now able to process input and to update output using the parallel machine. Problems with input/output converting: Any input or output with a different format in the previous versions of the ODE solver release, the format is now converted automatically. The conversion is based on an extension of the classic matrix type input/output class. This conversion, however, does not change the classes, but changes the implementation. Thus, if you have modified the classes, you must also make the necessary changes in order to use the parallel solvers and the other new features built on these classes. If you haven't touched the classes since the first versions, these classes should be clearly recognizable.
