Battles soon get repetitive but I pushed myself to beat this game. There are three main stories that last for about 12 hours. Don't forget to use three habilites in the main campaign because I found it out when I was at the end of the second story. The best of the main story is that it has many scenes and you get to see most of dragon ball characters just being themselves. If you want to beat the enemies easily just press the square button and the R2 when the enemy is far or defending. I don't think this game deserves more than an 8. PS: What's with the huge hands that all the characters have? Feels weird.

The Story mode consists of fighting the same 'Clones' which are just Characters from the game with a different color pattern, it's extremely lazy and gets boring QUICK. The story mode is long for a fighting game, but mostly because its filled with cutscenes, some that are interesting and funny, and some that are just boring and pointless, like the same repetitive cut scenes of one of your characters reacting to fighting one of his clones. This is by far one of the worst and most boring story mode in a fighting game i've ever played. The Arcade mode is alright and pretty basic just like any other arcade mode in fighting games. The main problem i have with fighterz though is the just sheer lack of content. The only thing you can do really is play online matches with other people, and even that can be a chore since sometimes the matchmaking is just god awful and the servers will completely just **** itself. The game by no means is easily accesable if you're a casual, they have auto combos in the game which basically means if you spam Light attack or medium attack you'll perform a decently sized combo, but there is no combos list, and if you actually want to get better at the game and actually learn how to play (the in game tutorial doesnt really help at all) you'll have to go out of your way and watch youtube videos, go through many sites and google docs just to find a **** combo list (Since because yaknow, adding a move list with universal combos and character specific combos in the game is just too difficult) and learn Fighting game terms, so you'll have to outsource on that, and that alone scares tons of casuals away, hence why the casuals have already left this game. So at the end of the day, its a empty competitive fighting game that severely lacks content, with the only thing to keep you going being the community and competition.
As it goes with Dragon Ball, collecting the fabled treasure will grant a single wish to its user. This is absolutely the case in FighterZ, where both players compete to collect Dragon Balls by performing combos long enough to unlock a particular ball. Placed in a shared pool at the bottom of the screen, this creates a sort of meta-competition in the fight. The player with maximum Ki who collects the seventh and final dragon ball will summon Shenron upon finishing the last combo sequence.
When you summon the legendary dragon, you'll have five seconds to choose from four different wishes for your character. These options include reviving a downed character, granting maximum ki energy, restoring full health to your current character, or giving your character auto health-regeneration. While these choices may seem a bit simple, they can mean the difference between victory and death during an intense battle against a challenging opponent. Much of the focus will still be on the core combat--and seeing an actual summoning seldom happens in the common game--but the dragon balls are a game-changer, and can result in an amazing comeback for players skilled enough to collect them all the Dragon Balls. 2b1af7f3a8
